The Warp Reader is a history book for Dialectic and Rhetoric students. It is not a textbook, but it does contain a lively account of basic information about history so that your students can still be prepared for their Tapestry discussions even if they do not have access to any of the living books on our lists. This “core” or “spine” or “overview” book averages fifteen pages per chapter. It is available for all four years, and it is designed for Grades 7-12.

WARNING: Parents and teachers, please be aware that Chapters 7 and 8 of the Warp covers drunkenness and sexual immorality in the 1920's. We recommend pre-reading it before giving it to your students so that you can leave out any sections you feel are not appropriate for them to read.
PLEASE NOTE: There was so much demand for these readers that we made a "work in progress" Beta version of the Digital Warp available, and that is the version you are purchasing. The Digital Warp Readers will be receiving more edits and updates until they reach the Delta stage of completion. All purchasers of the Beta Digital version will automatically receive the Delta digital version when it reaches completion, but please note that you will encounter some typos, etc., in the Beta version you are purchasing because we are still finalizing these books. We expect to release the final versions no later than 2028.
See below for a complete list of books that can be replaced by the Warp series.
